Buyer Evaluations
I upgraded from my factory 1998 Dodge stereo in my Caravan. Stereo sounds great and I enjoy that I can hook my iPod up and operate it via the radio controls. I believed a remote was sort of silly for a auto stereo, but I uncover I use it all the time- I don't have to even appear down to modify stations or advance by way of the iPod. Also, the HD is quite cool, it picks up additional stations that were never there prior to.
I can't speak on the ease of installation, because I took it to a nearby shop and had it professionally installed and it looks excellent. I do discover the bright blue is a tiny too vibrant for night driving, and the green is too dim for daytime driving so I am continuously switching colors and there are a TON of capabilities I haven't found yet, but for the standard listening that I do (I'm not a commuter), it really is an awesome stereo.
Wow! I love it! HD radio is fantastic. This stereo has all the solutions I was looking for, the HD, The front jacks for the I-POD, and way alot more power than my factory stereo had. I was told by the Greatest Order tech that Sony lead the market place for simple and easy to use stereos, he was proper. I am far from into electronics, this unit is straightforward to set up. I recall thinking who in the world desires a remote for a vehicle stereo, wow, it does every little thing, I in no way have to have my eyes to leave the road. I am quite happy with this unit!
