I have a Garmin Nuvi 880. It has the Bluetooth feature. The microphone that is built in is adequate but I was seeking for a thing better. I attempted the Garmin external microphone and it was not much superior than the a single that is built into the unit. In my search for replacement solutions, I attempted a few other well known microphones brands. All of them had been about the exact same as Garmin options. Then I ordered the Clarion. A significant difference to all other people I tried. Operates wonderful. Clear with minimal background noise on my Garmin Nuvi. Recommended! Note: this is a three.5mm plug and Garmin uses 2.5mm plug. You will have to have to obtain a converter. I located 1 at Radio Shack that operates well.
We installed a Nokia bluetooth hands no cost unit, and their microphone was terrible. I did a lot of on line searching ahead of I settled on the Clarion, and what a outstanding distinction! The mixture of capacity to angle it appropriately and the noise cancellation make it an excellent choice. No alot more complaints from persons on the other finish of a contact.
