I purchased this unit not too long ago, thinking it may well be a excellent chance to have a terrific radio in my auto and turned out to be a total disappointment. The very first unit has a blue line in the center of the screen at just one particular day to install it on my Mazda.
I made the complaint to Amazon and they sent me a second unit, I was really pleased that I received it and believed I could finally enjoy a really good music after so long, but to my surprise when I was listening to MP3 files from USB memory the screen began to flash and got blank, even though you could hear the music but the screen was not working.
Promptly I turn off the radio and turn it back seconds later to see if it already had passed the "dizziness" that gave him whilst playing MP3. Then I place a video DVD, when I am enjoying a excellent show in my new radio the "dizziness" returned with a lot more force and this time it came out of the DVD menu and put in radio mode.
I have various comments on the management functions of this radio:
1. The controls are challenging to have an understanding of and do not last extended on the screen to program anything, example Bass, Trebble, and so on..
2. The sensitivity of the touch screen is fairly poor.
three. The sound controls are rather simple.

I am satisfied with Amazon consumer service but not with this BOSS.

this indash receiver is awesome for the price tag. you get a dvd,am/fm radio, cd-rw mp3,sd card, and usb multi-decoding plus it plays videos via usb or sd storage. this model has only 3 functioning modes wich are radio,cd,sd/usb.....it does not incorporate gps, television, bluetooth,or cd changer option. but that does not matter it has alot of possibilities for each and every of the sources, it features separate bass and treble and balance and loud enhance.the touch screen feature is also fairly responsive just know that you will not be creating any adjustments while driving, the major menu lets you adjust the screen brightnes and contrast, when playing a dvd movie it has yet another brightnes and contrast level, it is just incredibly well place except for the gui its a bit crappy. the output level is okay it does not produce distorted sound, it is especially well balanced, i recomend this receiver due to the fact it has a low value and has sufficient features to claim its own braging rights.
