Customer Critiques

This is the third stereo I've had in my boat and I like it. It has lots of attributes and was fairly quick to install. Based on the other two stereo's I have utilised, this one plays cleaner, loader and allows my children to use their MP3 players. I specially like the capacity to put an MP3 CD in and let it play on shuffle for the complete afternoon. Some stereos take awhile to get the subsequent random song, this one does it especially quickly which is a significant plus. The wireless remote is a great feature but you have to be facing the stereo. The only drawback is when you transform the volume if you accidently push on the volume knob, you go to the setup menu. Just a bit of a nuisance.

Bought this unit to replace my old one particular. Chose it for the USB iPod interface. Excellent unit. Neighborhood iPod interface is a bit tough to use, but holding the MODE button down for a couple of seconds switches the UI back to the iPod, which is a Must with teenagers on the boat. Added a USB extension so the kids could plug in behind the drivers seat and transform the songs so I can concentrate on driving. Unit has lots of power, separate sub outputs. One factor I advocate is shortening the 'auto-off' feature so you don't run the boats battery down at night.
