I bought this radio about a week ago and was overflowing with excitement. to consider i had identified a radio with all these capabilities for such a low cost was beyond wonderful. Here are some crucial things i liked.
HD Radio-
yeah, its that cool. for those of you out there that are skeptical of no matter if or not HD Radio is worth your income, ill go ahead and answer that question for you. yes. yes it is. I wasnt sure myself prior to i purchased this but it was like rediscovering radio. for individuals who are not positive how it operates, its like this. HD doesn't have its own band like AM, FM, or XM, but it improves the FM sound quality. and single stations can have much more than one channel such as 97.9 HD1 and 97.9 HD2.
Sound Good quality-
This radio can pump out 50W x 4 PEAK. that translates into at most 25W x four RMS. for a stock sound program in just about any car, That's A lot. The high quality of sound in my old speakers is considerably improved than it was. that little radio powered my 8 speaker Boston Acoustics system. nuf mentioned.
Ipod/ipod tagging-
Here's something you don't see generally: the cable necessary to unlock the complete capabilities of iPod integration _is included_. music manage can be completed from the included remote or the radio itself. The music tagging function is fairly helpful as well. beware, it only works on HD stations.
Bluetooth-
Ok. the one con of this item. The bluetooth is totally compatible with H2DP, handsfree is handy, clarity is fantastic. BUT, you have to initially acquire the BTM 60 ($40ish) Dual Btm60 Bluetooth Interface Module before you can use BT anything. even music streaming.
Misc-
installation was uncomplicated and clearly described in the directions.
The EQ system as well as the menu and button technique is well believed out.
Included remote is extremely handy and useful.
Works well with MP3 players.
Music can be imported and organized from mass storage devices(e.g. thumb drive). just dont make it bigger than four-8 GB or your in for a fine wait.
Detachable face plate is good.

All in all this receiver is a winner. i believe dual place a really good amount of consideration into this and it definatly paid off. wont come across a greater radio for the price

For the cost this is the most beneficial auto radio I could locate. It has HD radio, bluetooth (adapter is only $29 to $40 - significantly cheaper than countless), and Iphone/ipod control/display. Functions outstanding. Radio have to be beneath driver when mounted in vehicle to see facts when in open position (no dilemma in my Saturn). Install was like any other car radio (it takes time).
