Client Evaluations
Exactly where do I start off... picked this up at perfect purchase... had it installed by the guys there... they sucked but that is not what this critique is about.
Firstly... the is my very first review ever... I am writing this given that I don't want anybody else to buy this pos.
For $1200 it better "function"
1. It locked up 1 day following obtaining it.
2. It became super sluggish before it locked up.
three. The manual stated the only way to repair it following a lock up was to hit the reset button in the bottom left corner. This reset the entire receiver to factory defaults. (omg i want to punch a person)
four. The DSP sounds horrible compared to how it sounds when I bypass it.
Kenwood messed this up significant time... here's what most likely occurred.
1. they needed to meet a deadline to have the functions complete
two. there wasn't sufficient time to optimize the capabilities
3. they referred to as it "total" and shipped it with the worst top quality ever
I'll never ever acquire a kenwood receiver once again. Their commitment to good quality is non existant.
I named Kenwood and they stated a 1.5 second delay before the interface even responds to your action is regular. Poor design if they really feel that way. The unit is also slow to even use. I'll be selling this and purchasing a Pioneer. I will never buy a Kenwood ever once more just after this expertise. Crutchfield was really beneficial in putting me in touch with the ideal men and women, who regrettably, had been not in a position to help (Kenwood). The buttons on the unit are as well modest / portion of the screen and it's impossible to tell what you hit for the reason that of the 1.five second delay ahead of it even starts processing. Stay far away.
