I've tried the other dash kits and this 1 worked top for the 2001 Ford Concentrate (4 door, Zetec engine, stock Ford 6006 6CD/stereo). As the other reviewer mentioned, pickup the antenna converter and wire harness.
The dash kit was sturdy platic and comes with two face plates. I did not use the face plates as the 3" DVD/stereo unit I installed fit perfectly. The stereo unit I installed was a Sumas SM-30BT (exact similar model as the XoVision XO1915BT at Amazon.com or the DP DP301BL at Fry's Electronics).
The Main Bracket of the dash kit is designed for both the Ford Focus and the Mercury Cougar. To install in the Ford Focus although, you have to break off the two top tabs labeled "Cougar". If you appear at the picture, the compartment is the bottom and you will see at the best those two major tabs, those are the cougar tabs you have to break off. I used a pair of wire cutters and cut each side as close to the base of the tab as feasible (the directions says to trim it to be flush with the score line) and then bent them up and down to break them off. They broke off quite close to the score line for me so I did not need to sand or something.
You will insert your DIN sleeve from your new stereo into the principal bracket and depress the DIN sleeve's metal tabs to hold it in spot.
Installing in the Ford Focus dash was a little tricky but to save you some work, heres what you do. I hooked up my wire harness first and ran it through the Most important Brack opening. I then push the Major Bracket into the dash till it covers the opening entirely but do not push all the way in. The trick is to push the leading of the Most important Bracket into the dash initially till you hear a snap (this means the tabs at the leading have locked in). Then push the bottom portion of the Primary Bracket and you will hear one other snap. That is it, your most important dash is now installed.
Afterwards, I hooked up the stereo to the wire harness and tested it just before sliding the stereo into the Major Bracket. This was my 1st install and this bracket proved the easiest to use. I did order two of these since the firs reviewer mentioned the shipping was bad and he is perfect. There was no packing material in the USPS box but considering the fact that I ordered two, I guess they buffered every single other in the course of the shipping and both arrived with no damage. I'll preserve the second one in case I have to replace the stereo once more given that I know this one operates for me.

it was kind of a discomfort in the butt to have to trim it, but it functions and does not appear horrible.
