I bought this cable for a Pioneer 4300. The cable is a knock off and does not play sound when playing videos.... The picture shows a pioneer cable which is not what I got... If I can cease 1 individual from acquiring from this via the internet dealer I have accomplished my job. Do yourself a favor and acquire the cable from a reputable vendor like crutchfield or bestbuy.
This cable only permits you to watch videos from your iPod library...that is it. The cable is not compatible with Otterbox situations. You have to remove the case in order to use the case.
The purpose I'm giving this 1 star is mainly because the connecter cable that plugs into the bottom of the iPhone shattered into many pieces. Following a variety of hours of trying to put it back together I had no luck. So I threw it out and use just a common USB cable issued by Apple. Operates perfectly!
