These factors are absolute crap, Im a mechanic and attend college full time for mechanical engineering I have installed almost certainly 2 dozen sets of aftermarket speakers in my life these are the worst I have ever noticed, no other speaker I have ever observed is anyplace close to the level of low that I give some thought to these speakers, 1st of all let me bring to your attention that they are sold in singles. Only speaker for a vehicle I have ever observed not sold in pairs... They come with no hardware, no electrical connections, no something. I purchased the 6x9s and a pair of six.5s thinking that I dont have to have something special just a low-priced stock replacement, I did not get that. What I got were 4 totally useless hunks of junk. Right out of the box they crackled and popped at what I give some thought to normal listening level forcing me to listen to them at half of the volume I would commonly listen to my music at, by the finish of the week even at the low volume level one of each and every size was totally blown. The other two barely audible. Just save your funds and order one thing that will perform. I just bought the Polk Audio equivelants to replace these and they are absolutely nothing brief of astounding. I spent 60 on 4 of these with shipping and 130 on the polks with shipping and I would do it once more every time. Would not pay ten bucks for a set of four, junk.
If planing on replacing both speakers, you need to buy quantity: 2. They come individually in singles. I replaced the front speakers in my 1998 Honda Civic four Door sedan. For the cost, they are superb. What do you want from a pair of speakers for much less than $20 bucks?!?!?! In any case, Much much better then stock, easy direct drop in (no mods) I am happy! Now if you want one thing greater, of course decide to buy some superior speakers, these are by no mean "high end", but if you're just seeking to replace some junk old speakers (or blown ones for that matter) you will not be disappointed with these!
