Client Critiques

four ohm speaker does not fairly fit original 6x8" rear door mount on 1998 Ford Contour but a couple of new holes drilled corrects that. Sounds OK, in particular for the price tag but not high overall performance. Look for a accurate coax or triax kind for fuller sound.

I replaced my 1996 OEM radio w/ tape deck for obvious reasons. My new Pioneer head unit obliterated what was left of the already decaying 16yr old OEM speakers. I necessary something particularly inexpensive, but also had some degree of quality more than the OEM speakers. Thats where the Boss 5x7 Dual Cone 80watt speakers came in. Their RMS and Max output are in the range of my head unit and they are a direct fit for my Ford Windstar. Yes, my day-to-day driver is a pos '96 Ford Windstar, now you see why I wanted to spend as much less revenue as attainable for some excellent sound! Install was speedy and hassle-free, and the quality of sound is far superior then my old OEM stereo set up.
If you are tired of getting to listen to the music of each and every other car next to you and want to boost the overall performance of your OEM technique without going crazy, I extremely recommend these speakers!
