When I first installed my IVA-D106, I loved it. Decent searching user interface, good sound, neat functions. Now that I've had it for a year, it has some warts:
Buttons are pretty little and require precision to push. You have to push appropriate in the middle of a tiny button to make it work, which isn't a excellent feature for some thing you'll interact with whilst driving.
Most setup options need you to place in the "secret footshake" of pressing the parking brake and foot brake to get to the setup menu. This consists of points as straightforward as changing the clock or the color of the background graphics.
The CD player in mine has stopped working. It is been 1 year and it won't read an MP3 DVD at all, at all times saying "Disc error". I've attempted some cleaning CDs, but it refuses to play them with the very same error message.
That becoming said, it nevertheless sounds fantastic. But if I had it all to do over once again I would invest in a distinctive unit.

I bought this unit to replace a tiny older Alpine unit (IVA-D310) that time was starting to pass by in that it did not allow for Bluetooth and iPod integration.
